At the moment everything seems to be working except Ethernet (I have not tested audio and printer connection yet).ĭo I have broken motherboard or just something wrong with hardware or software configuration / installation / etc. GA-Z170X-UD3, i5 6600K, G.Skill 2 x 8 GB DDR4 2400 CL15 (on the list of supported models), Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD 128 GB (Windows 10 installed here, drive connected to slot further away from CPU), Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA HDD connected to SATA 0, ASUS blu-ray burner connected to SATA 1, quality CPU cooler (local brand SilentiumPC Grandis), quality case and quality 550W Gold standard power supply (both SilentiumPC). Sometime during the process motherboard was showing F0 led code and HDD drive was not properly seen but somehow it was fixed, no more suspicious led codes on motherboard and HDD is working properly BUT LAN issue remains unsolved.Ĭonfiguration of my new PC is as follows:

I find it really suspicious and disturbing! My last option in Peripherals section is NVMe Configuration. It is like this despite the fact that in the chipset section PCH LAN Controller is of course enabled. “This device cannot be run / activated (code 10)”Ģ) In the BIOS in the Peripherals section I do _not_ have option Intel Ethernet Network Connection that is listed as the last position on the page no 34 of motherboard’s manual.

I have just built brand new PC on GA-Z170X-UD3, installed Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit OEM from installation DVD disc and all the necessary drivers (including LAN) from fresh download from Gigabyte website (Windows 10 64 bit versions, downloaded to pen drive and unzipped on my old computer and then pen drive connected to my new PC and drivers installed).
LAN (Ethernet) on my brand new motherboard GA-Z170X-UD3 is not working at all
